12:42 pm	So, Now i'm back in Scarborough!!! It feels so strange to be back, and almost like i've never been away!!! I worked at the Valley last night and all the locals were there and it was like i have never been!!! I have had such the best time in Oz and never thought i would get to go to New Zealand and Fiji too. I met the best people and have amazing memories!!!! Cheers to everyone i met over there who made it what it was and thanks to everyone at home who stayed in touch!! Its been mint meeting up with everyone again!! although i  haven't  see  much of a few people but i don't have a phone and it makes it  hard!!!!!  Anyway, cheers guys,, i'm now going to print out my live journal so i can keep it as a diary from when i was away!!!! xx    Oh, theres one more thing.............................................................. 11:04 am	6 weeks and counting... So first thanx to everyone who emailed about me being nervous about coming home, was cool to read what people thought... I'm going to be a nightmare now on the computer because my flat mate has just got his laptop wired up and everything so i'm always on it now and doing his head in,,,, Been up to quite a bit of stuff with Jess, the roomie, Dreamworld, Aussie world (for the pub) Noosa, DFO, Cinema and dinner and nights out, and that was all in the past 10 days... Strawberrys are driving me mad as a hatter and i dropped Sie off at the airport last week to go home. Day off today so its a sorting day where i'm going to get all my stuff done..anyway,, more piccies!!!!! Me and Jess on the kids swings at Dreamworld in the Nickalodeon zone, you've gotta love it.... Ok, so this picture could be seen as a bit naughty so look away now mum..... me and Jess broke onto the Nickalodeon party bus at dreamword... this is me in the drivers seat!!! This one looks weird but there is an explanation... we pulled this pose the entire length of a ride (about 3 minutes, going upside down, the lot) because we thought it would make a funny photo. When we got off the woman on the ride told us they stop taking photos at 4pm...... This is me and Sie on his last night at a very posh restaurant where they gave Sie chicken on baked beans!!! Was a cool night tho!!!! Ewan, Sies mate and my flat mate, with Chloe. This is the sunrise from my bedroom window... living the dream people, living the dream!!!! Thats me pretty much updated, coz i'm just working loads at the moment, its pretty hard when its a gorgeous day and you don't want to go but i've just got to think that i'm home i 6 weeks so i only have 4 weeks left at work and then i have to think about that i want to get to Europe, so i have to get the van etc.. still doing lots on my days off which helps and getting waves in when ever i can which also keeps me sane!! Man i'm going to miss the warm water,,, infact that has just reminded me, i'm going to buy a steamer this arvo!!!!Sweet!!!! 2:43 pm	Not long now.... OK, first things first.... more photos!!!! sorry... I love Christmas, everyone knows i love Christmas.... its getting so cold so i threw a Christmas dinner... this is me making mulled wine.. Chloe, me and Jess after 3-4 cans of Tooheys each on curry night... Me after 5 cans of Tooheys... trying to dance,, its not going well.. Chloe, me and Jess in The Pig & Whistle after many more Tooheys and Gin.. was a mint night and had so much fun doing the games!!!! So thats all my photos updated...  Now i would like your advice on the following... Why do i get nervous whenever i think about coming home??? Answers on a postcard!!!??? Its really starting to freak me out, so not good. I rang and changed my flight the other day because i have decided not to take the flight and stop for a few days in Malaysia and just come straight home instead, but i'm coming back later and will be back on the 20th Sep't so sorry Lozza D but i miss your birthday!!! 6:23 pm	Update!!! Man my diary is getting boring, its all this working,,,, i'll type the rest in a funky colour to try and make it more interesting........... Still just working by packing the old Strawberrys, think it is driving me mad!!!!! Been managing to get quite a few surfs in too, but its getting cold, i have no idea how i will cope when i get home, You will have to drag me out there Jayne!!!! Went on a road trip the other weekend, photos!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 6:15 pm	Jess at Kirra, looking every bit the surfer, unfortunatly not much surf going on and we were only passing through for the night!!!! Laura and Sie (and bubbles) in the back of the VW Camper van we went in!!!   Road Trip!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So Sie leaves for down south soon to go to a festival and then he is coming home, Jess is moving into the flat with me and Ewan. Can you beleive the blumin' footie............   =( (Comment on this)

5:50 pm	Ummmm..... so what have i been up to? Not much really i'm stuck in the old 9-5 bit (well 8.30-2.30, but you get my point!!!!) Surfing as and when, not doing too well at the moment tho!!!! Ummm trying to get some money together so i can do one again to Europe early next year!!! Come on Laura, you know you want to!!!! Met 3 really nice English girls, Jess, Laura and Chelsey. They are living in the cotton tree hostel and i work with them and they are really sound, we have been drinking far too much and generally having jollies!!! All Good!!! Can't beleive i have under 3 months left, that is no time at all!!!! Also can't beleive i have been away for over 7 months, crazy stuff!!!! Spoke to my mum the other day, she was clearing out the summer house for Summer, hope she realises i moving back into it in no time at all!!!!! Current Mood: awake Current Music: The Rat Pack!!!! 12:28 pm	Ok, saw this view and thought of my dad... so this one is for you dad, miss you and love you lots. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx   Sie saw this turtle while he was fishing on North Stradbroke Island....... Then i spied this shark!!!! This was at Amity Point after a surfing weekend on the island!! Glad we saw this after the surfs and not before! The point at point look out!! 12:20 pm	Photos!!!!! Check out those white bits!!! Haha!! my tan came on a treat in Fiji,its slowly going now in the Aussie winter!!!! Ok, fear was running through me at this point, i had just jumped off a boat into shallow reefy water to go surfing!!!!!!! Needless to say, i was very very very scared!!!! Quick 200metre or so paddle to the line up!!!!   Thats me on the right sat out back, so scared but was a really good experience, got to catch a few waves and seeing all the fishes and the coral under you as you surfed over the top was out of this world!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 7:48 pm	Fiji Baby!!!!!!!!!!!  Argh! Don't know where to start had such a mint time, but i supose the beginning is a good place...... On our first day there we were staying at a surf camp, they did trips out to the reef and then you had to jump off the back of the boat and paddle over to the reef about 150Meters away and then surf over super sharp coral..... SCARY STUFF!!! My first wave i stacked my pop and then got caught on the inside, it just kept pushing me more and more into the shallow water, was pretty freaky and i cut my foot on the coral and i couldn't get out back but managed it and then just sat on the side and caught some smaller  ones until i got my confidence back!!! Next day surfed loads better and even saw Layne Beachly heading out for the Roxy Pro and she told me to have a good surf!!!!  I have photos of me jumping off the boat and the reef and stuff but they are on Sie's camera, so photos to follow!!!! After that we headed to Sigatoka, one of Fiji's only beach breaks.  We stayed in a place with no electricity or running water.  You had to shower outside and the toilet was so gross you felt better going on the beach!! all for the small price of about 30pound per person per night in a 10 bed dorm!!! Got some nice surf there and as the swell got bigger it started going mental, paddled out in some of the biggest stuff i ever have done. Only managed to catch two of the smaller ones (one of which i stacked my pop and bounced along on my belly!!!) but was still cool to paddle out!! After a couple of days there we decided to have a bit of luxery!!! we got a ferry to Bounty Island (where they filmed Celebrity Love Island) and spent the day snorkling and sun baking!!!  Sie going for a snorkle The Love Shack off Celebirty love island! (Can't get this photo off its side) the coral at low tide was so close to the shore. Fiji is so beautiful, but sooooooooo expensive and the food is gross!!! Had the best time tho, surfing over the reefs being one of the things i will remember for ever!!! i have more photos to go on here in the next few days!!!! 2:02 pm	Our camp site wasn't actually by a river until after the cyclone..... Si my camp mate!!! =) When it was flat me and Si set up a circus school!! he taught me how to juggle and i taught him poi...oh no wait a minute, he snuck out of that one!!! Salt and lime baby, salt and lime.... (i'm sorry but i have to take a second to mock Si's little finger!!! he drinks his tequila like a polite upper class drinks their tea!!!!   heehee!) Awwww!!! This jecko is in my room, it is so tiny and i feed it.....  =) ok, so what did i learn when surfing yesterday?
